Like my new manicure? Does it look expensive? Good, because it wasn’t! The greatest part about it, was I didn’t go to a nail salon.  I used ImPress Press On Manicure Nails in control freak.  They come in great designs and colors, it’s a simple application, they last for up to a week, and look completely real!  I’m absolutely thrilled with my new manicure.  It’s a gorgeous shade of fuchsia and I had it done in the comfort of my own home.  It’s a definite recommend for those on the go people that don’t have the time to invest in fashion.  Keep them in your purse when you’re on the go or keep them with your other nail polish.  They’ll always be there ready to press on in a few quick minutes.

Some tips:

 Be sure to size up the nails before you put them on.  You want your nails to look uniform so see which ones have the best fit before you apply them.

Take off any existing nail polish or decal.  It’s important that your nails are bare before you apply them to your fingers.

Use the prep pad.  They make your fingernails nice and ready for maximum stick.

It’s no secret as to how this tan guidette got to her level of stardom…by being herself which is to be expected among reality stars.  We’ve all enjoyed seeing Snooki and her outrageous style, one liners, and borderline criminal antics.  It makes for a good show; but now Snooki’s got a bun in the oven which leads everyone to ask, will she retire the crown of dumb, tan, and silly for wife and mama?

I follow her on twitter and it’s been very interesting to see how the tiny mama to be handles her “haters.”  Everytime she has a negative fan tweet her something she reacts with a comment to show how proud of her tan guidette self that she is.  I find her twitter haters to have a point though.  We’ve seen Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi for 5 seasons on Jersey Shore.  We’ve seen her be drunk, mad, sad, stupid, arrested, tan, and half naked.  Have we seen her be mature, graceful, and responsible? No we haven’t so why should anyone believe that she’s ready to be a wife and mother?

What I’m not trying to say is that she isn’t capable of doing it.  Who knows, maybe after years of seeing the same Snooki over and over again, MTV got her down totally wrong? What I am trying to say is that I think it’s a bit unrealistic for Snooki to be on the defensive about all of her haters.  We’ve seen one side to her since the cultural phenomenon known as the Jersey Shore.  She was paid to do so.  She signed a contract that put her in front of the eyes of millions of people.  OF COURSE people are going to think that she’s going to be a terrible mom…with fetal alcohol syndrome.  She only got paid to act like an idiot and become reality royalty. 

Snooks, you made your name and fortune based off you being the epitome of irresponsible, dumb, and foolish.  Don’t be so niave as to think that everyone is out to get you when they tell you that you have terrible taste and might not be a good mom.  I hope that you do turn out to be a wonderful mom and wife, but let’s be honest if it walks talks looks sounds like a duck.  It’s a fu*&ing duck.
